GE dishwasher shelves (racks) vs. KitchenAid ones.

My wife and I bought this new GE dishwasher for our house that we will be moving out of (in about four months), so we did not "obsess" over the features.

Now that it is here, and we are using it, we are (of course) noticing the differences between it and what we had been used to (KitchenAid) (both here, and -- at the place we were renting before living here).

I never realized how useful adjustable shelves (on the top rack) are, until we did not have them ...

Also, I think the design of the lower rack in the GE dishwasher does NOT give much flexibility in all of those important decisions on how to "cram" a lot of plates in there before it is full.

Jon.
