No, it appears I cannot keep my mouth shut any longer. Your Irish friend from Point and Figure Land is suing Atin for his distribution of his free software.

Makes no sense. Atin makes no money.....the concept of Point and Figure predates the plaintiff's birth. If he wishes to sue Atin for the manner in which Atin writes his software, well.....

Is he going to get a piece of the profits? Atin gives the program away. But even if he did not, who is to say that Atin's program is the same as the program designed by ChartCraft/Mike Burke, or perhaps earlier by Cohen or who knows who?

If I published the Bible, would I have a copywrite on it? Evidently Tom Dorsey thinks he has a copywrite on point and figure. All the nuances that attend that...perhaps Stochastics, maybe moving averages......trendlines perhaps....

Your guy isn't right, somehow. Hey, maybe he wishes to sue me as well. I can't figure out how he can sue a fellow who charges no money.

By the way,

By chance my wife's family does publish the Bible. I thought I would be up front about that.

However, I admit I do not own the Bible, merely because it's something my family publishes.
