lawdog, I assume that you can't help but make yourself look like a child. Name calling and chest beating on a down day is no great feat. I also assume that your favorite targets are long term CSCO holders and are up so much on their investments that there is no way that you will ever outperform them with a short position. In regards to your comment about bears outperforming the bulls, CSCO is up what, 15% this year? That seems to support the bull camp. If I were to short a stock right now, it would not be CSCO. I am presently short a couple of high fliers that have no nets... CSCO has a net imo. good luck, tp
