This site is a bogged down mess....besides the bugs ,user ID compromises, gridlock ....
.... and now the management seeming to respond to us collectively, only when prompted by exposure on cnbc today...when the commentator asked what are they doing to communicate to the membership...coincidence??
..that this lack of response time being one of the more dismaying aspects of the experience on the internet....customer/user relations and the lack there-of.
Silicon Investor has constantly "pumped" this new flagship interface for months...and for months after it's launch during trading hours this "New SI " ,often gets so bogged down , so grid-locked and difficult to post on , it's almost useless. IMHO!
Notice that the PM I recieved from the management tonight , comes only after the CNBC bad expsosure....reminds me totally of the Etrade outages last year ...and how it took major exposure in the press and Wall Street journal , for them to spend some money and get their act together.
But I guess when you get right down to it....SI is just another "CHAT Site" , which has the distinction of being one of the slowest and "bugged out" one on the net...acts like a penny-stock.
That's why there is a growing trend towards RT trading in groups now mIRC and private trading sites , where the faulty software doesn't interfere with ability to communicate.
SI is a drag , so slow most of the time for me , I have deleted it as my homepage.
....has a pretty facade , tho!
