In April 1999, Evoke Communications launched its flagship Webconferencing service, which depends upon proprietary systems and applications that integrate disparate telephony and Internet communication technologies.
Currently, Evoke Communications offers five services: Evoke Webconferencing, Evoke Mobile Webconferencing, Evoke Talking Email, Evoke Webcasting and Evoke Web Talk. Evoke Communications also offers proprietary systems as co-branded engines that power business and consumer communication events over the Internet.
Evoke Webconferencing
The company's flagship product, Evoke Webconferencing, is an automated conferencing service that leverages the power, reach and visual support of the Internet and the reliability and universal availability of traditional telephone conferencing services. Evoke Webconferencing users can instantly establish a meeting without operator intervention, join participants on the phone and Web to share visuals and present the event as a live or recorded Webcast.
Evoke Mobile Webconferencing
Evoke Mobile Webconferencing empowers users to extend the reach of Webconferencing to a wireless arena. Mobile Webconferencing integrates the mobility of a hand-held platform, the reliability of telephony and the reach of the Internet in a collaborative conferencing tool accessed through a wireless Internet connection. With Evoke Mobile Webconferencing, moderators can instantly establish and control a Webconference, deliver a live or recorded Webcast, and provide detailed activity reporting.
Evoke Webcasting
Evoke Webcasting provides customers with a complete solution forcontrolled delivery of voice, video and visuals over the Internet orcorporate intranets. Evoke capture's content from it's customers' live andrecorded events, encode, track and manage the content, providing an end-to-end, cost-effective streaming solution.
Evoke Talking Email
Evoke Talking Email allows users to record a free voice message up to 30 seconds long and send it as an email message. The service has thecapability to deliver the message to thousands of users simultaneously.Additionally, users can post their voice message as a link embedded on a web page.
Other companies have enhanced their own services by adding Evoke's Talking Email to their offerings. Currently, Blue Mountain Arts has added Talking Email to its online greeting cards and Excite.com has added the service to its online personals ads.
Evoke Web Talk
Evoke Web Talk is a voice chat service that allows users to participate in live voice and text exchanges over the Web. Web Talk allows businesses and consumers to communicate online in real-time chat rooms via their PC or telephone. |
