Rambi, thanks for the great perspectives on childhood. When I was that age I remember getting my first motorboat ride in a very large pond at a public park. Years later I revisited the park and was amazed at what a very tiny pond it was. Heck, you could hardly turn a boat around in it. And then, as I was leaving, a youngster showed up to fish in the pond and I finally reconnected to the wonderful way I felt about it as a child. Did you see the latest on the Elian saga? I wonder if there's a higher future in store for Mr. Gonzalez. They could really use a guy without a beard who wears decent clothes and smiles. I can see him as the Gorbachev of Cuba...
