Richard, You do mean the T-Bird 1GHz. This is what I have been referring to. So far it looks like there is a problem. Some of the 1GHz T-Birds are badly broken. Fortunately, AMD has chosen to sell all the bad parts to Gateway, so the other OEM's are unaffected. Scumbria
