The email I got was from someone at Spectrum Data Mgmt. whose only client seems to be DorseyWright according to their web page spectrumdata.com
And the exact wording was:
<
This is to notify you that your site is using copyrighted material obtained from one of our client's sites. The javascripts employed there clearly state Copyright 2000, Spectrum Data Mgmt., Inc.

Just removing the copyright line does not make it all right to use them.

Given that their only client seems to be DorseyWright (check the clients link) . . . the obvious assumption is that they were involved. Obviously I took nothing from DWA. My underlying data, my charts, everything is totally programmed by me.

Anyway, I'm happy if DWA is going to stay off my back so I can improve my pages without having to worry about DWA wasting my time.
