re: "I feel great about the next 6 months."

RR, so do I. It will be tough going, but the direction will be higher. People are still spooked over the gyrations of the past couple of months. We'll have some more scares. People are worried, and that is good -- the proverbial wall of worry to climb.

I do think it is a good time to be diversified, even if only within a sector, such as technology. Look at the big hits some of the quality stocks have taken recently -- BMC and ORCL yesterday, QCOM before that, MSFT before than. Perhaps the opportunity here is to diversify out of large positions and into an array of some of the "biggies" who suffer from these temporary hits, and who have sound business models and management. This is not momentum investing, so patience will be required if you take this route.

For example, look at AMZN. I got out of it before the recent wave of bad news. If it drops to an obcenely low price, I'll use it as an opportunity to get back in. I got back into QCOM last week because I see much more upside than downside at these prices.

I think we are going to continue to see extreme volitility until people begin "investing" again, selecting stocks of good value with good growth potential, instead of trying to get rich quick by jumping on the latest hot stock. Maybe it is time for us to jump on some cold stocks once in a while.
