Re: believe me, when they're pimping them so heavily in concert, it means "we want to get out".... heinz, I'm not fully convinced. Q2, Q3, and Q4 earnings should be blowout for all the semi's. You'd think they'd ride this out a little more? OTOH, it seems these markets are turning into trying to anticipate events farther and farther ahead of time. So SSB comes out and says, "all the semi's are going to have blowout earnings for the next 6-9 months, then it's overcapacity". I'm very tempted to take a big short position on the sector, but how will the markets react when AMD & Intel & others have solid earnings and say they are going to sell everything they can make for the next 6 months? Will the semi's tank on this "good" news.... With my luck the ANALysts would start pimping these stocks EXTRA hard and I'd get stuck in some sort of short squeeze... chic hearne
