Jeff, somebody is buying all that gold that is sold...note the gold price has been stable for quite a while now. 5 tons need to leave someone's vault every day to balance out the supply / demand deficit...this can't go on forever. otherwise you're right...the CB's are engaged in the total fiatization of the world's money, all to support the US bubble, the continued existence of which is regarded as essential to global economic 'health'. it's ridiculous...the longer it goes on, the more painful the eventual resolution will be.
