(COMTEX) B: Conolog Ships First Modified PTR1500 Production Module to B: Conolog Ships First Modified PTR1500 Production Module to Bonneville Power Administration; Value of Potential Contract Could Reach $4 Million SOMERVILLE, N.J., Jun 30, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Conolog Corporation (NASDAQ: CNLG, CNLGW), an engineering and design company that provides digital signal processing solutions (DSP), announced today that it has shipped its first production module of an active hi-voltage switching and line-signal interconnect to its PTR 1500 DSP systems to the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). The BPA is a long-standing client of Conolog Corporation, in receipt of over $2 million worth of inventory from the Company's INIVEN brand PTR product line. The production module was specifically designed by Conolog to meet the needs of the BPA and other electric utilities for uninterrupted power even during repairs or modifications of systems. It provides a front panel 3-5 kv manual switch that permits electric utility customers to disable all PR1500 inputs and outputs under full operating load conditions, and a front panel jack-set that allows the insertion of external frequencies while at the same time disconnecting the input line(s) to the system. Robert Benou, Conolog's president, commented, "Conolog Corporation values its relationship with Bonneville Power Administration, and we look forward to continuing to fulfill their specific product requirements. This production module could form the basis for yet another contract with BPA, that could potentially add $4 million in revenues to Conolog's bottom line over the next 24 to 36 months." Conolog Corporation is an engineering and design company primarily engaged in providing engineering and technical personnel, and manufacturing a line of digital signal processing systems, including transmitters, receivers and multiplexers, under the INIVEN trade name.
