This puts me back into my mode of thinking last May. I felt at the time, the damage was so severe it would many, many attempts over an extended period to repair the damage.

I think the ultimate direction is all going to hinge on the next Fed action. Right now I believe the consensus is that only one more hike is probable, that's what is being said publicly, but I believe their may be quite a number of analysts that have secretly thought the Fed was finished. And if that's true, it's already factored in, so any negatives (even slight) like todays unemployment figures will cause selling. :-(
