Bill. That's what the houses want. Get the little guy in and out. Remember this article on where the DOW and NAZ is going long term. I know, it's tough to go against those houses. Every week someone is trying to knock the techs down. But we all know, it's the techs that form the future.

The NAZ is up in the meantime. Other houses coming out in defense of the Semis again. First it's Drew Pecker (that's what Paul Engel calls him gg) and now it was this SSB guy. But he had to admit last night on Moneyline that he could be wrong on the slow down coming sooner than later. Well yes, I guess everything will be slower at one time or another. It's the long term that counts. Always remember that those analysts work for the houses, not us. But we def. like it better when they tout a stock. gg.<p>
Today it's the Fiber optics that are getting slammed because this little specialty fiber optic company, can't even remember the name now, is announcing lower earnings for one reason or another but still sees future growth. Yes. Anything to take profits. But maybe the summer rally will still materialize.

Check individ. stocks. There is talk if it is time again to look at QCOM. VRSN has been called the Csco of the future in the security sector. A cpl years out. Pretty darn volatile. Seems to be the darling of the day traders. Insp and Vrsn have been called The stocks to own in the internet sector. AOL has this target price of 100 by the end of this year. Semis still look good and fiber optics will be there in the future, I guess.

The telcom sector is the future also. WCOM seems to be doing alright. Some analysts think that WCOM would be on the right track if they gave up their long distance and just stay with their internet business. This is one fallout from the WCOM'Sprint merger denial.
BTW. One analyst said yesterday he would sell T all day long. He did not like it and said that T paid way too much for their cable lines. Did not like Athm'Exite either. I guess AOL may have been smart after all not to jump into that sector that quick. Sheesh. What a sell recommendation when T is around 30 now?
