I don't espouse sitting back and doing nothing. Despite evidence to the contrary, there are some people willing to put their necks on the line to root out corruption. However, when the corruption is at the very top, I have my doubts that anything will be done. What I can do is hope for(and vote for) a changing of the guard at many levels. As for the Justice Department... I think that its recent history speaks for itself. The current head of the department will not be viewed favorably by history.

Please don't mistake my cynicism for defeatism. I realize that it may sound that way at times. A little tracking of the investments of the major brokerage houses, as well as some of the "expert" talking heads before and after some of their pronouncements would open some eyes.
