Jules,

Nice to hear from you again.

May I add a few?

-- Release of Pentium 4 (at 1.4 to 1.5 G), in third or fourth quarter. From all reports this is HOT, and has a lot of GHz headroom.
-- Current sales trends from lower margin desktop PC's to higher margin notebook PC's plays into Intel strength.
-- 30% + projected growth in Asia/Pacific; Japan appears to be in recovery.

Jules, if I was forced to look for things that could go bump in the night:

-- Non CPU component shortages could limit 4th quarter PC sales.
-- Increased capital spending could lower EPS.
-- New non-Intel products (Sony PS2's, handheld PC's) could compete in the retail space to limit growth.
-- Execution, hopefully the stumbles of the last year are behind us.

Bottom line, the known positives far outweigh the potential risks. I pretty much agree with what Dan Niles has been saying, that Intel is the stock to own right now.

John
