<< I do not know many Miami Cubans- I am sure many of them would make fine parents and /or guardians, but this household would not. >>

I live and work in Miami, and know many, many wonderful Cuban families, as well as Hispanics from other countries. Your previous statement seemed to condemn ALL Cuban families, so I am glad that you cleared up my misconception.

I am not Hispanic, but know many who have lost relatives and homes to the corrupt politicians in Cuba. The politicians, in Cuba, do not have to answer to the people, so corruption and abuse is common. If they ever held free elections in Cuba, and the politicians were held accountable to the people, the current load of politicians would be the ones fleeing to Miami.

And, of course, like other previous despots, we would take them in.
