Rose... You must drive through the Mt. St. Helens area sometime, I'll show you the best way to see it. Yes, it is recovering amazingly. No, I won't be hiking, or going up to the crater area....I go just east of the peak because that is where one of the best motorcycle roads in the world is (but there are spectacular views of the blowout area). Very tight twisties for 80 miles or so.....a ton of fun. I keep all my camping gear on a little plastic card I keep in my pocket....Motorcycling is very therapeutic for me, a total drain of concentration, extremely relaxing. We'll be up to see you this summer, I promise. Scott
