Cacaito, you stated>>>>>>>>Rk, your only contention is PLAIN WRONG!, just because some packages of blood has "up to 15 x bpi" does not mean all of the packs do, neither that there are many that are low or even very low.<<<<
Cacaito, you walked right into that one. Once again YOU are not up to the challenge!!!!!! You didn't even stop to think of whether or not Leukocyte depleted blood was used or not!!!! Could it have been a randomized trial where some were given depleted and some not????? Who knows???? What you are saying doesn't make sense to me. YOU don't trust Baxter???? Then what about Allergan???? What about all the scientists that have faith in BPI???? Why were around 7 different pharms trying to deal with Xoma on Neuprex???? Why did rBpi21 significantly reduce Bacteremia in Baboons IN AS LITTLE AS TWO HOURS???????? What is my opinion on Hemo Trauma.......I think the high level trauma centers they picked took away their endpoint by 50% by improving techniques and therapy in regard to airway integrity. I think you would of seen much different results if instead of high level trauma centers pick instead small hospitals that are poorly staffed. It is a shame because that is where Neuprex might be needed most.......poorly staffed facilities. Just my opinions.
