Hi Jack,

Re: I believe Nanovation is tied in with MIT in development.
When I heard the announcement of this last January I was completely baffled. It seemed to be one of the many manifestations of the lunacy of the dot.com market that a company with no product, no customers and (relatively speaking) no money was offering to fund $90MM of research over 5 years. Judging by what I've read in the MIT Technology Review, the academics think this thing is for real. Who am I to say this dog don't hunt? While some few principles that have guided me in business for 30 years have been slightly modified by the antics of the last couple years, I'd say that I'm going to be very interested to see just how Nanovation moves its joint discoveries from the MIT lab into the realm of corporate cash flow in time to meet the bills. I just assume that this won't and can't happen. But what can, in the meantime, is that Nanovation will have a flotation, and the public's endless fascination with the new story and willing suspension of disbelief will save the day once again. Sm:)e.

Best, Ray
