CrossKeys Diversifies Board with New Appointments: New Members Bring Substantial Experience With Telecommunications Service Providers and Systems Integration
KANATA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 2000--CrossKeys Systems Corporation (Nasdaq:CKEY - news; TSE:CKY. - news) announces today the appointment of two seasoned telecommunications executives -- Patrick N. Smith, and Peter Gordon Jollymore -- to its Board of Directors.
Both men bring considerable engineering and marketing experience in the telecommunications industry.

Mr. Smith has 30 years of experience in the systems integration business. His current position is Vice President, Systems Integration and Technology Planning for Sprint. In this capacity, Mr. Smith's responsibilities include assessing the technology opportunities in the systems integration marketplace, and the interoperability of systems throughout Sprint divisions.
Mr. Smith lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mr. Jollymore, an electrical engineer, has over 30 years of experience with telecom service providers. He has held various senior executive positions with New Brunswick Telephone Company (NBTel) and Stentor. With Stentor, Mr. Jollymore was President of Stentor Canadian Network Management (SCNM). He has direct experience planning and managing the growth and change of telecom networks to digital and optical infrastructure. Mr. Jollymore has also led the marketing efforts for service offerings to corporate customers based on these networks.
Concurrent with these appointments, John Selwyn, James F. Elder, Roger J. Maggs and Dr. Hiroyuki Mizuno are retiring from the Board. As a result of these changes the Board will be reduced from 11 members to nine members. The current Board members are Terence H. Matthews, Joe Culp, Ian McLaren, James C. Avis, Peter Charbonneau, Greg Jacobsen, Dr. Gordon I. Jenkins, Patrick N. Smith and Peter Gordon Jollymore.
