nbfm - but the sum total of this news indicates that either carriers around the ENTIRE world have been bamboozled, or I need to re-think my base assumptions that Q is the toll gate to the wireless world.)

Did you see the articles a coupple of weeks ago that there have been teams of execs form NOK and ERICY in Korea?

What do you imagine they were doing there?

What about the timing of the DoCoMo move into Korea? Do you imagine this is all mere co-incidnce.

I have said on the QCOM threads ofr over a year now that NOK, ERICY and their EU muscle are determined to break the Q's position. It is as simple as that. If the Q wins then NOK and ERICY will have lost the ownership of the IPR and that will only get worse for them as time goes on.

These kind of moves are well planned and didn't happen overnight. Such strategies could include timeous shorting of the Qs stock as well as a raft of other actions inlcuding trade agreements, lifting of those cute little EU trade restrictions ( that don't exist as trade restrictions of course) etc.

Now that they have dealt with the Koreans and the Brazilians my guess is that we will very quickly see a move in Australia which will no doubt be followed by a further hit on QCOM stock price. Will whoever knows what is about to be unleashed in Australia also short the Q stock???

There is no question that they will have a go at the CDMA2000 potential players in the US as well. They mean to totally undermine the Q and probably then to pick it up for a song.

Q longs will in all probability not abandon ship as it has been such a fantastic almost piece of our lives.

One day soon we will hear from Dr J. I suppose that we can cliing to the hope that he knows something that will be good news. Hope is still left but we are heading back to the natural home in the $40s.

We are at the eye of what is going to be the first major trade war of this century and it is going to be wireless data.

Best regards,

L
