Ruffian: Trying to keep up on several threads is hard to do as I am learning today. Chuckle.

Admire your ability to do just that.

The gist of the LGIC announcement was in the Samsung announcement.

Note Samsung deals with real world - current spectrum in Korea.

And note that Samsung should be able to run rings around LGIC in data speed (5Mbps)in the second half of next year (2001) in current spectrum which is at least a year before LGIC in the new spectrum. And then Samsung proposes to do 15Mbps in the new - whenever that happens (if it does).

But all that is worth a yawn, no?

Other games are very much in play here - especially by Bloomberg and Dow Jones - and whoever provide their lunches.

Best.

Chaz

PS Looks like Samsung (which is almost interwoven with Qualcomm in Korea) is a target as much as Qualcomm - in Korea.

And note: Samsung is a huge threat to the likes of Nokia and Ericsson throughout the entire world - but especially in Asia and very importantly China - if even only half of what they say they can and will do - does happen in fact.
