Natural language search tool from Delphes delivers the right
information and quickly
NURUN Inc., a subsidiary of the Quebecor Inc. group, and Delphes
Technologies International announced today the signing of an
agreement that will see NURUN become a certified marketer and
integrator of Delphes' Diogene Technology(C). This natural
language search technology will allow NURUN to offer an optimal
information retrieval solution to all clients with content-rich
Web sites.
The Diogene product line is an information retrieval method based
on the linguistic structure of human language. The technology
delivers more meaningful results than other popular search tools,
which typically produce results based on the presence of key
words. With the Diogene technology(C), users can make information
requests in ordinary language and receive results that better
reflect the desired outcome. Diogene will look for the different
morphological variations of a word (i.e. verb, adjective, noun,
etc.) and also maintain the logical links between words. The
technology is currently offered in English, French and Spanish,
with other languages to be added in the near future.
