RB -- I couldn't agree more. Communicating the benefit to the end-user in clear terms would make a huge difference, imho. It's hard to do (at least it was for me when I had to interview engineers for stories to run in more mainstream trade pubs), but in this case I think it would be well worth the effort and might even generate a little more news coverage and PR. Plus, maybe it would help me understand FTEL more fully than I do.
