The story you refer to boston.com Around here, there used to be bears, foxes, and deer near the bike trail. The latest suburban sprawl is reaching out to the Appalachian Trail. It's not a pretty sight to see people trample over turtles and chipmunks on their mountain bikes. Saw two run over this week. Probably some on purpose.
