LOL.

What was that great phrase used by Spiro Agnew? I think it was "Nattering nabobs of negativism" or some such.

To this Board: A lot of you are spinning yourselves into a frenzy over a pimple on an elephant's ass.

Sure, I'd like to have seen the Koreans come out unabashedly in favor of CDMA2000. Remember the following, however:

1.-They didn't have to.
2.-Existing licensed spectrum will be used for 1X (CDMA2000) this year and HDR next year.
3.-The WCDMA which might be used will be used on unlicensed spectrum two or more years from now. If used, the Q will be paid because the Q has won the WCDMA IPR battle in Korea against MOT. See Jan. 22, 2000 press release.
4.-If CDMA2000 and HDR already scheduled for roll out in Korea is a success, the Koreans won't bother with WCDMA as they will have two or more years of 3G under their belts before any WCDMA network is rolled out.
5.-Who do you think is going to sell WCDMA ASICs to the Koreans? Nokia? LOL

All of you. This is your mother speaking: "Get a grip."
