Staff: I reread your post and find that it seems to have beeen written by 2 persons. Approx one-third of your post is as you describe it; mild and congratulatory to Neil for his obvious hard work in putting together facts, not conjecture, which will no doubt stand out for a long long time as the best and most timely information to have been posted on the thread. The other 2/3 of your post still burned me up. Despite the fact that Neil specifically said that he had spent a lot of time and effort to assure that the facts in the post were truthful and accurate; despite the fact that he specifically stated that his sources were OUTSIDE Presstek; despite the fact that he specifically cited a trade Journal which most of us dont take the time to read and desptite the fact that Neil specifically said that he had obtained legal opinion re: posting the information you imputed possible "false" information as well as possible "trouble" and negatives resulting from having "let the cat out of the bag". I reread your post with a mind to being prepared to apologize to you for possibly being too harsh in my response to your post..... Naw; I dont think so. It still raises my ire that you were so presumptious as to caution the longs thusly "If somebody bought the stock based upon Neils news and it does not work out, i dont think its fair to make Neil the fallguy".........again I remind you of the very recent and thorough disclaimers posted here covering just those issues; your little lecture was childish. Your suggestion to Neil that " waiting for Presstek to release the news would have more impact" was your way of saying I suggest that you keep your information to yourself Neil.....think about what you are saying there Staff. Is it not hypocritical to suggest on this information thread that someone keep the information to him/herself??? Gimme a break Staff. The final straw was the anology that Neil gave the rest of the industry an opportunity to come up with a strategy to head off a Presstek "ambush". Get real Staff; what are they going to do; run out and perfect a better plate in 2 weeks to meet the Presstek challenge or weasel word a reply to fool the market??? No apologies from here Staff. You managed to impute every possible negative to Neils post under the guise of mild suggestions and got called on it. Go back and read your own post and tell me again that it was just a little pat on the back. Youre correct that these are not schoolyard games so Dont insult peoples intelligence with posts that are too cute by half in their content ....in the meantime Ill reiterate my acceptance of the Montecristo from Diamond Dan. *G*.
