Nikon Extends Rebate Offer

steves-digicams.com

MELVILLE, N.Y., July 6 -- Summer's here and Nikon has made it easier than ever to share your summer memories with rebates on two of its award-winning Coolpix digital cameras. Beginning July 1, 2000 Nikon is offering a $75 rebate on the Coolpix 800, 2.11 megapixel, 2X Zoom-Nikkor camera, currently priced at $599 MSRP. Nikon has also extended the $100 rebate on its Coolpix 950 2.11 megapixel, 3X optical Zoom-Nikkor lens digital camera, currently priced at $899 MSRP. The rebates are effective from July 1, 2000 through September 30, 2000 for new camera purchases.

It would be great to see 2.1 megapixel cameras below $400.00 by Christmas of this year.
I think it is definitely doable.
