mr mark, thank you very much! I installed luall.exe in the folder and tried live update again. Again it complained about not finding luall.exe or one of its component parts . Since I have no idea which component part might be missing, I simply reinstalled the part of NU that contains live update from the CD. Then I ran LU [twice] and was told I had the latest updates already. :)

Since LUALL.exe was not on the CD, your sending this file helped make the fix possible.
