SNRS at 8 after FDA approval...

... appears to be a great buying opportunity to me. I have added a significant number of shares last week at an average price of about 7 1/2.

My analysis indicates that the stock should be worth 16-20 based on conservative estimates of machine shipments and royaltly revenues over the next 12-18 months. I believe the catalyst that will start the stock moving upward is announcements of shipments and procedures being done.

I understand Sunrise mailed contracts to a lot of interested eye docs and laser centers last week, and approved contracts should be flowing back to the company over the next two weeks. Then shipments should begin.

Just my take on the situation. Although I have a lot of SNRS shares, it is still only a 10% position for me at the current price. This is still a speculative stock, although not nearly as speculative as it was 18 months ago, when I first looked at the stock, and passed. My initial position was built in February this year.

The VISX collapse hurt this stock, but eventually the street will realize this stock doesn't carry the same kind of risks Visix did last fall and winter. Only an idiot, or a short term trader, would have been plugging Visix before they lowered fees as competition heated up. Fortunately, the Sunrise LTK procedure doesn't really have any viable competition yet, and won't for some time.
