Larry,

I will try to get to your site over the weekend. I understand the importance of these macroeconomic (is that a proper description of the 6 points you listed?) trends and wish to incorporate your knowledge into my understanding of SanDisk specifically. Perhaps you would be so kind as to summarize in a page or two how the SSB report ties into SanDisk's expansion plans and intended capital expenditures. I don't mean to be lazy, but it would be a nice platform to launch discussion from and I am sure many on the thread would appreciate your input. You seem to have put a lot of effort into collating the information.

Some things still puzzle me. SanDisk hasn't even cut its first check for capital expenditures and they already missed the boom? I thought our target markets were nascent. We had inventory write-offs in mid-1998 and now we can only keep up with 60% of demand. I still can't get my arms around the oversupply concept. Have you seen any of the comments in the Barron's article? Would you disagree with those comments?

Worse comes to worse they can always write us all a dividend check for $8/share and go private.
