RRR,
My wife used to work for GTE. They had a plan where employees could buy GTE for about 65% of the going rate using tax deferred money and put them in an account where the dividends bought shares at reduced rates all tax deferred. The catch was you had to leave them there for at least 3 years. The reduced price was around $15.
Can you believe she maxed on this instead of buying BBN like me? BTW,
she still has her shares, and getting more every quarter.
