Dan,

Would you not expect the 815 to be faster than the 820, seeing as the designs are a year apart? I don't know where you have been hiding, but in the high tech world, performance tends to improve with time. If you need proof of that, watch for the P4/RDRAM benchmarks and seeif any SDRAM system can compete using any Intel or AMD based architecture.
