Biotechnology/pharmaceutical is the perfect sector for swing and position traders. The sector is too volatile to 'invest' in for the long term since it could give back in only a few days or weeks all it made in last 6 weeks and we have already witnessed that once before.

I am a buyer across the sector including med drugs: ARQL, UTHR, ADRX, FRX.. and more. I would never get another biotech fund however since the high volatility makes it more profitable to jump into the good ones and know exactly which ones are 'hot' instead of 'diluting' your gains with too many biotechs and/or sticking with genomics when pharmaceuticals and companies making vaccines for the 'blockbuster drugs' are great also.

We were in during June but there was a plethora of great moves including more of our favorites: VRTX, HGSI,ORCH, GENZ, HYSQ, HGSI, CEGE, ABSC, MAXY, MEDX, MYGN, IMNX, INCY, GILD, NBIX, LEXG, ENZN and ALXN... What does Harry Potter have to do with biotechs?
