I have been following Bob's advice since the mid 1980's.

(2) It is easy to complain.

There is nothing in my post that indicates a complaint. All I seek is the truth whatever the truth may be. I seek the truth by analyzing the numbers against the opinions of those I respect in this case Bob's newsletter and by applying my trained eye and critical judgement. The worst thing one can do is accept without critical judgement the forecast of another blindly.

It is hard to forecast.

I realize that. I have been in economic forecasting for close to twenty years.

(3) Please tell us your forecast so we can all put you on record with Bob and compare both.

I did not make a call. Bob did. It has not yet come to fruition. Bob's forecasting record is better than my own but this is not the issue. The issue is where we are six months after the call and where are we going. Again, look at the numbers and conclude.

P.S. It is easy to dismiss my comments as a complaint. Remember, as Bob says he is not a god. The markets will go where they may. Always take advice from those who you respect, do your own analysis, and go forward with the best strategy you can. One of the reasons I have questioned the forecast is because there are many people on the board who have agreed with me via private messaging on SI but feel intimidated to post their views. You sound like you follow Bob without question.

P.S.S. The post you are responding to noted a few numbers and trends...argue the analysis and facts not your emotions or opinions.
