I emailed BMO about 7.24 and Veev .. here is the response:
To assist in answering your question I thought you might be interested in
seeing some remarks made by Lloyd Darlington, the President and CEO,
Emfisys at the Fourth Lafferty International Financial Services Summit
held July 5, 2000 in London, England. Bank of Montreal Public Affairs is
hopingthe full text of Mr. Darlington's address is available on
www.bmo.com in the near future. I think you will find some of Mr.
Darlington's comments very interesting. For your information, Emfisys is
the information technology member of the Bank of Montreal Group of
Companies.

"From its earliest days, Veev has been based on partnerships and it will
continue to be so. It was the joint creation of Bank of Montreal, a
financial services institution; Bell Mobility, a telecommunications
carrier; and 724 Solutions, a software applications developer. Other
partners have come on board since,"

"An immense market, an open technology, a flexible partnership structure
and a technology whose possibilities we are only just beginning to
realize. Take all four of them together, and they explain why at Bank of
Montreal we are excited about Veev and what it could mean for the future
of banking in North America."

"...introducing a wireless channel is a major undertaking that needs
strong backing at the highest level. Veev is not something we at Emfisys
do in our spare time. It is one of Bank of Montreal's six major strategic
thrusts. Ever since that talk with Greg Wolfond, our CEO, Tony Comper,
has been one hundred percent on side. I know that we couldn't have done
it on time, or perhaps even at all, without his total support."

"In fact, our customers' only real complaint was that Veev did not offer
them more -- more content, more ability to roam, more device interaction
and connectivity. As you just heard, we have been doing all we can to
meet that complaint."

"Throughout this whole story, our partnership with 724 has been our trump
card. 724 has given us rapid time to market, end-to-end security, and a
technology platform and integration capabilities across the full suite of
retail financial services. Thanks to our partnership Bank of Montreal now
has the ability to develop new markets and services such as m-commerce,
and much more besides a little further down the road."

I hope the information provided is of assistance.
