thecow, I have IE 5.00, a customized for MSN version. Did you know Win98 lets you repair IE? START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>SYSTEM INFO>TOOLS I've done this just now. It doesn't tell you if it repaired anything, but always puts the IE icon back on the desktop. I always delete it, 'cause I keep it in the tray. Gottfried
