Cautionary Note for Next Week - In his weekly Saturday phone update, tech guru Michael Murphy mentioned "specific reasons" for a market warning due to an earnings disappointment or two.. He said that if you are going to adjust your portfolio to do it by Wednesday.. Yahoo reports after the bell on Tuesday, and no one company of grand importance reports on Wednesday.. This may have significance or may not, he is a self-claimed "insider" and many people subscribe to his service who have been so "warned".. His message is being relayed on the Yahoo boards as "he believes we will begin another market downturn by the 12th".. Personally, I've been aware that Yahoo hasn't been trading right and took a short position 2 weeks ago, prior to the recent downgrade calling for a P/E of 30, which I thought was very unusual.. >><<
