Bulls,
That is a common but misleading argument from the GSM/WCDMA camp. Nobody is saying WCDMA is owned by QCOM. In fact it is vaporware thought up by the Europeans and NTT. All were saying is QCOM will get the same royalties per phone, no matter what the flavor. So, if you think WCDMA will be more competitive than CDMA2000 with the cost of QCOM's 5% royalties and the toll extorted by the cabal, with all due respect you must be nuts.
