LGIC opens WLL system in Bashkortostan koreaherald.co.kr LG Information and Communications (LGIC) has recently opened a CDMA WLL (code division multiple access wireless local loop) system in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan, the company said yesterday. The latest export by LGIC is a 10,000 subscriber-capacity narrowband CDMA WLL system in the 800MHz bandwidth. Additional launches in 17 cities through 2005 would follow the system launch in the city of Ufa, the company said. The total system exported to this region will reach some 80,000 lines.
