TT: Dell may be the new Rome, but Rome is not built in one day. Mainframe is not dead. Sw makers who are gouging on control with mainframe are going to be dead. And "It is the network, Stupid(not you)". Internet started the highways. Corporates are building the byways. MIPS will increase on the MF (mainframe), but so will they on the workstations (PC are also gone , they are now WS(workstations)). I am building the world's biggest data warehouse. The people who are working on this project are 2 from their home offices and 5 groups from 5 different office locations. So more power to you and me, but Steady goes Eddie
