We now live in a State that oppressively forces individuals towards certain actions at the point of a gun. It is rapidly becoming the antithesis of a society where liberty prevails.
Just a few examples:
From birth, an individual is now assigned a social security number. You are tracked by this number and identified by it. You cannot even make much of a livelihood without this number. You are a prisoner to it because you cannot opt out of the system, but are coerced into staying with it even if you are bitterly opposed to it.
You are forced, literally at the point of a gun, to pay taxes. The State has created a license to steal the wealth from individuals that they created for themselves. The State determines how much it will steal and when it will steal it. To add insult to injury, if you are totally opposed to the way the State is spending these stolen assets, you have no real say in the matter and thus find yourself being forced to economically support programs and institutions you are diametrically opposed to...
In the name of "freedom," where you move your money is now under surveillance by the FBI, Treasury and DEA. If you move too much of your own money too fast to too many areas the FBI will appear at your doorstep and want an explanation of what you are doing with your own money. If banks, brokers or insurance companies fail to report these transactions they face civil and criminal liabilities.
These are just a very few examples of how all our liberties continue to be eroded. It is a far cry from the vision of the men who founded this country and their ideal of a land based on the principles of liberty, little government interference and self-sufficient individuals left alone to enjoy the fruits of their labors and to be limited only by the size of their dreams and their abilities to bring them into reality.
Yes, I am planning on moving out of the U.S. in future years. This country is NOT becoming freer, but more and more oppressive. More laws, more restrictions, more things becoming illegal, more prisons, more socialism and a more anti-individual political system. I intend to live in a place where real freedom still exists, not the illusion of freedom most Americans are willing to accept or have been programmed to believe in.
Where I am going I will live free, can travel anywhere, will not have the lunacy on my back that I have in this country, and will pay only 1% tax on my income annually. Period.
There is no social security, no social programs, no coercive programs, no massive media programming parrot people what to think every day. It will be refreshing to really feel alive and free again -- a feeling I only get now when I am away from the big government power structures of North America and Europe.
