Testimonial for PowerQuest products ...

If one is contemplating getting Partition Magic, they may be wise to take a look at Drive Image, another product from the same company. Many who buy one, also acquire the other too: It's usually only a matter of time. Since they also come 'bundled', you can save a bit and get both.

Partition Magic performs a needed task without much time, effort, hassle, or danger. It does its work and provides a graphic representation of what it's doing, making the desired results easier to visualize and achieve. Although this program isn't used often, when it is, it's worth it's weight in gold.

On the other hand, Drive Image will be used repeatedly. I use it as a method of system back-up and restore. Once I've a stable system, an image can be stored (3 minutes) which I can recall (8 minutes) whenever things go horribly wrong. I cannot begin to account for the hours of grief saved by this program. My system seems to posess the ability to time it's trouble to arrive at the worst possible moment -- so instead of hours of tracing the problem, I just overwrite the crap and I'm productive faster than I can make an instant coffee.

Just my experience, PW.

P.S. The manuals that come with these products provide one of the best explanations of how disks operate and are worth the price of the products alone.
