I have a JOhn Deere walk-behind that I love. I always thought that lawn mowers is one area where you just go ahead and 'pay the man'. Buying a crappy brand will only result in replacements every few years... Now that I"m looking at these and see prices from $3500 up to $10,000+ I'm rethinking my strategy. I saw a decent one at Sams for 899..i can just throw it away every 5 years and buy another.At the rate it will take 35 years until I hit the break even point on the Deere. Cruise control?
