Mike one thing that puzzles me about the mkt action in the year 2000 is this :

-the dot com and b2b stocks have had a reality check
-the biotechs have had a reality check (although now i - agree there are some interesting values and opportunities)
-the pc stocks have had SOME hits (although i noticed dhell crawled back to 50)
- qcom is down from 200 to the 50's

why are the chippies so IMMUNE from any sort of a reality check ? why wouldn't barrons (who imo has done the investing world a great service by at least offering some contrarion thoughts and articles like the b2b's running out of $) or someone do a similar piece on the chippies ?

(i remember years ago a very negative article on mu in barrons, gosh golly i shoulda bought some then !)
