"ecological fallacy" eh? Never heard that one before. Seriously, is it just a fancy synonym for "generalizing" or is there some distinction? Yes, if I were better Q-informed I may well think the story is better than the current price, but nothing could make me reason so blindly as to hold on to a position that has been beaten up as badly as Qualcomm. The EF could be said to be working the other way a month ago: Just because many tech issues have gotten beaten up and did not recover quickly, one should not assume that this one will follow the mean and go into the dumper.
