KIS isn't exactly right on this, but close enough. You can't. If you have a good relationship with a ML they could give you an idea, but even they don't know for sure until the tallies are added up every month.

Ever noted that special SEC fee on the trade confirms on short sales? That is supposed to be for paying for the extra record keeping and such.
