Jim and Thread,
Any possibility of an earnings warning this late ala CA/BMCS or just an earnings disappointment of a few pennies. Is it possible that old economy companies held back this quarter to boost their bottom line at the expense of MSFT too. I know mainframe software is different but I can see the possibility of higher interest rates, energy costs and possible earnings disappointments slowing down software purchases by old eco cos costing msft a few cents in earnings. A market letter I follow is calling for a Naz tumble possibly to test lows based on shocking CA/BMCS news last week which caught this particular guru totally unawares. Any thoughts!
