Zeev, why are you so convinced that there will be a bear market next year. Is it only because this year is an election year, and bear markets don't 'happen' in an election year. Brinker has been talking about the withering of money supply and the fact that the rates will take a while to really slow this economy down.
I think this rally that we have see since Memorial Day is primarily a bear rally of fibre-optics/genomics/biotech and selected semi stock. In other words, this rally has hardly been a convincing one, especially with volume less than 1.5 bill every day (on nasdaq).
If the 'rally' continues, then we will see Sycamore with 50 billion mkt cap, Juniper with 70 billion and Broadcom with 80 billion. I think these stocks will be halved from the current price, before reaching those lofty market caps.
A more important question is that when do you think the bear market will end.
Also, as a Rambus watcher what is your take on the stock, say 3 months from now.
